Thank you for visiting our shop. These terms and conditions govern your use of the site and purchase of goods and services from the site. You will also find information on your privacy and your security on other pages of the site and these pages shall be incorporated into these terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the site. By accessing the site and/or placing an order, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions and you consent to us using your information in accordance with our privacy policy.

All prices quoted on the website are retail, displayed in (£) Pounds Sterling, and include the cost of delivery.

Payment for all orders (including those placed from outside the UK) are made in (£) Pounds.

All prices include VAT at 20% – this rate may change at any time in line with UK Government legislation.

All goods remain the property of Skaramanda Ltd until payment is received in full.

Although we try to ensure all our prices displayed on our website are accurate, errors may sometimes occur. If we discover an error in the price of an item you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible.


All Skaramanda Jewellery is made to order in my studio workshop and delivery times may therefore vary. If you require a piece of jewellery by a particular date (e.g. a birthday or anniversary), or within 14 days of ordering, please get in touch as soon as possible after placing your order. Unless we agree by email to deliver goods by a special date, we cannot accept liability if the goods do not arrive within the delivery times stated below.

As everything is made to order, delivery times depend on quantity ordered and the delivery destination. WE will endeavour to dispatch orders within 7-14 days of order and payment. Please note that at periods of high demand, ie November and December lead up to Christamas, the usual 7-14 day lead time may be more

  • All UK orders are sent by Royal Mail First Class Post, First Class Signed For or Royal Mail Special Delivery for larger orders.
  • All overseas orders are sent by Royal Mail International and may require a signature on receipt.

The Skaramanda website provides a general description of the nature of the goods. We endeavour to ensure that all descriptions and illustrations of the items on the website provided to you by us are as accurate as possible but as all items are individually hand made and hand painted, there may be slight variations. Paint colours on the website act as a guide and may vary depending on different screen resolutions.

Skaramanda reserves the right to remove any items listed in the website from sale, to change designs, technical specifications or alter prices without prior notice.

Except in relation to the description of products and services available for order from our website, we make no guarantees or warranties concerning the security, timeliness, relevancy, sufficiency, accuracy or reliability of any data, information, or services provided to you on or through this site. We will work to keep the website up to date but cannot guarantee that this site and its contents are completely free of technical errors, viruses or anything else that may have a harmful effect on any technology. We will endeavour to allow uninterrupted access to the site but access may be suspended, restricted or terminated at any time.

The site may contain direct links or hyperlinks to websites that are maintained by third parties. When utilising such a link, you are leaving our site; therefore, Skaramanda Ltd has no control over, does not endorse, and rejects firmly all and any liability and is not liable for damages and costs incurred by the user, the quality, operation, reliability, compliance with laws, ethics, business practices, nor content of such third party websites, or for any product or service advertised or provided therein.


All Skaramanda designs are the property of Margaret Lord. No unauthorised images are to be removed without consent from the Director of the company.

Unless otherwise specifically designated, Skaramanda Ltd is the sole owner of all intellectual property rights to this site and its contents, including, but not limited to, copyright protection for all content, including the design, layout, graphics, photos, format, and other visual or electronic elements of the site. Margaret Lord, Skaramanda Ltd, with ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, owns all ownership rights pertaining to the information and material contained on this site, including, but not limited to, the Skartamanda name, logos, trademark, graphics, photos, images, and content.

By using our site you agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the site.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use the site content in any way, other than that as may be intended and stated within the relevant part of the site. Your right to cancel your order

Online, mail and telephone order customers have the right to cancel their order for a limited time even if the goods are not faulty.

You can return your order if you change your mind, provided you notify us within 14 days of receiving your jewellery although we would appreciate it if you would notify us immediately by telephone, or email if you decide to cancel your order. Please ensure you quote your order number.

Returns and Refunds

Customers will be refunded provided goods are returned in a saleable condition, in their original packaging, and with a valid receipt.

Skaramanda will refund the customer within 14 days of receiving the goods back. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Repairs and replacements

If a customer has ‘accepted’ an item, but later discovers a fault, they should inform Skaramanda immediately and return the item. The item will be repaired if possible or replaced.

Altered Items

Customers are asked not to attempt a repair or alter an item in any way themselves. We do not accept any item returned that has been altered by the customer nor do we accept responsibility for damage or injury caused by our goods if they have been altered in any way or worn or used incorrectly.

How to return your jewellery

Please pack returned goods with care and send them by Royal Mail Special Delivery or an equivalent postal service, which provides adequate insurance to cover the value of the item and requires a signature on receipt. It is imperative that you use the correct postal service when returning goods to us, as we cannot be held responsible for any items returned to us that are lost in transit.

Returning jewellery from outside EU Europe

If returning items from overseas outside the EU Europe please clearly write on your CN23 customs declaration ‘RETURNED BRITISH GOODS/FAILED SALE’. If it is not clear that your jewellery is a return and we incur customs charges we will pass these on to you. Also please write the item description as “Fashion Accessory”.

Faulty or incorrect jewellery

We hope your jewellery reaches you in perfect condition, however if the items are damaged in transit, or are faulty please contact us immediately so we can advise you what to do. Please retain the original packaging as you may be asked to return this with the jewellery to us. Before returning your items please email us at with the following information.

  • Your order number
  • A photograph of the jewellery which is damaged
  • A photograph of the damaged packaging if this is the case

On receiving the parcel we will carefully examine the returned goods. If the goods are faulty or an incorrect item has been supplied or they have been damaged in transit, we will replace the item or refund the cost, including postage, provided you have notified us within 30 days from date of purchase.
